Job summary

Trinity Health in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Medical Assistant fluent in Spanish to join a collaborative clinic setting. You will support licensed clinicians, prepare patients, and help manage all aspects of the patient visit experience.

Responsibilities include room setup, vitals, EKGs, phlebotomy, injections, office testing, and general administrative duties. A high school diploma and MA program completion are required; clinical experience or certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Spanish (speaking, reading and writing) required for this location.
• High School Diploma or GED; completion of accredited MA program and externship/internship/EMT/Paramedic program.
• Certification as CMA/RMA/NCMA/CCMA/NRCMA/CMAC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Room setup and patient preparation.
• Taking vitals (manual and electronic).
• Perform EKG.
• Drawing blood and giving injections and immunizations.
• Performing office tests (Point of Care Testing).
• Pharmacology.
• Administrative duties.
• May perform or assist with in-office procedures/treatments.
