Qualifications

• Diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program is required.
• Certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred or as required by state.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and escort patient to exam room and document medical history, medications, allergies, and chief complaints.
• Assist with patient flow to ensure timely visits.
• Support delivery of patient experience with excellent customer service and communication.
• Assist physician/APP in exams and procedures under supervision.
• Collect and prepare laboratory specimens and administer injections/immunizations as allowed by state regulations.
