Job summary

Marathon Health in Salem, OH is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our patient-centered care team. The MA collaborates with a primary care physician to provide excellent patient care and a welcoming guest experience.

The role combines medical support and front desk duties, with a pay range of $21.00–$25.00 per hour. We offer competitive benefits, 15 days of PTO plus holidays, and scrubs at no cost, with a schedule Monday–Wednesday 8am–5pm and Thu–Fri 7am–4pm.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• National or state MA certification/registration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to rooms and ensure exam rooms are cleaned and stocked.
• Take vitals, collect health information, and inform the provider.
• Prepare and administer medications/immunizations as ordered by the provider.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals and check-in/out.
• Record data in the medical chart and communicate test results.
• Support care coordination and outreach to patients.
• Maintain clinical and office supplies and equipment.
