Job summary

SAC Health in Murrieta, CA is seeking a Medical Assistant to support one-on-one patient care in the Family Medicine Department. You will perform routine clinical tasks, help prepare exam rooms, take vitals, and assist providers during visits.

This role emphasizes teamwork, patient-centered service, and cultural sensitivity. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm with a 1-hour lunch, in a teaching health center that values interns and residents.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; CMA preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross).
• 1 year medical office experience preferred; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Fluency in English and Spanish preferred; ability to translate medical information.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical support and escort patients to exam rooms.
• Obtain vital signs and collect patient history.
• Perform basic tests within MA scope and obtain authorizations.
• Explain and complete patient forms; manage medical records and correspondence.
• Maintain clean, stocked lab and exam rooms; prepare supplies for procedures.
• Assist providers with procedures and exams as needed.
