Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of Medical Assistant training program and certification.
• One-year MA experience preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification required, or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Review daily schedule and verify availability of supplies and equipment.
• Prepare patient charts prior to appointment time and manage patient flow.
• Perform vital signs, basic lab tests and specimen processing as directed.
• Document medical information in patient records and immunization status.
• Administer medications and assist providers with procedures as needed.
• Maintain clinic cleanliness and organize exam rooms and supplies.
