Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Medical Assistant in clinics such as dermatology, urgent care, or hospital medicine.
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is highly desirable.
• Experience working with EHR systems and medical administrative support functions.
• BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients in English and Spanish with a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Perform patient intake: record vital signs and collect medical histories.
• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, ensuring comfort and understanding.
• Assist with clinical tasks including medication administration, specimen collection, X-ray procedures, and basic life support.
• Manage electronic health records (EHR) accurately and efficiently.
• Support physicians with ICD coding, documentation, and other care-related tasks.
• Monitor patient progress and update records while maintaining confidentiality.
• Assist with inpatient and outpatient procedures across departments when applicable.
• Ensure safety and infection control standards in clinical settings.
• Provide excellent patient service and promptly address questions or concerns.
