Responsibilities

• Greet patients, check them in/out, verify demographics and insurance, and ensure a welcoming environment.
• Room patients, obtain vital signs, medical histories, and reason for visit.
• Assist providers during exams and procedures; prepare exam rooms and equipment.
• Maintain accurate patient records and update EHR promptly.
• Answer calls, triage and route calls; return missed calls timely.
• Serve as liaison between patients and clinical staff to facilitate communication.
• Administer routine injections and perform basic clinical tasks as certified.
• Support assigned providers as their designated MA; ensure continuity of care.
• Encourage a positive, cooperative work environment among medical staff.
• Make sound decisions in urgent situations and escalate appropriately.
