Colorado Coalition for the Homeless in Denver, CO is seeking a Medical Assistant III to provide advanced clinical and administrative support in a high-volume clinic. The MA III will mentor staff, handle complex procedures, and coordinate patient care while maintaining a trauma-informed, patient-centered approach.

Requirements include a valid CO driver’s license, bilingual English/Spanish, and a Medical Assistant program with BLS.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum three years as Medical Assistant in a high-volume clinic or community health setting.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) is REQUIRED.
• Experience with respite care or street outreach is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Provide advanced clinical support including venipuncture, wound care, EKGs, spirometry, and diabetic foot checks.
• Administer medications and injections per clinic protocols.
• Mentor and precept newly hired and junior medical assistants.
• Coordinate patient care activities including follow-ups, scheduling, lab processing, and care transitions.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and infection control procedures.
