Job summary

Millennium Physician Group in Cape Coral, FL is hiring a Medical Assistant II to provide clinical and administrative support across outpatient and hospital settings. You will help manage patient flow, document care, and assist physicians with exams and procedures.

The role requires a high school diploma, MA program graduate, 1+ year experience, BLS, and bilingual English/Spanish; EHR proficiency with Epic/Athena/Cerner; and a Monday–Friday schedule 8:00 AM–5:00 PM EST.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Minimum 1+ year experience in a physician's office, clinic, or hospital setting.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with EHR systems (Epic/Athena/Cerner) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take vitals and document medical histories.
• Assist providers during exams and procedures.
• Perform EKGs, immunizations, and specimen collection.
• Prepare labs and point-of-care tests.
• Maintain infection control and equipment calibration.
• Document clinical data in EHR and schedule tests.
• Coordinate referrals and prior authorizations as needed.
