Job summary

USA Clinics Group seeks a Medical Assistant to support physicians, manage patient interactions, and maintain a welcoming clinic environment. You will assist in procedures, take vital signs, and document in EMR/EHR systems across multiple Illinois locations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of hands-on clinical experience as Medical Assistant or similar.
• Experience with vital signs, rooming patients, phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection.
• Completion of MA training program and CMA/RMA/CCMA certification preferred.
• Proven patient-facing or customer service experience in fast-paced settings.

Responsibilities

• Greet, room, and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming and positive patient experience.
• Obtain and document patient vital signs, medical histories, and other clinical information in the EMR/EHR.
• Perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, EKGs, injections/vaccinations, specimen collection, and other duties within scope of training and certification.
• Accurately document patient interactions and clinical information using EMR/EHR systems.
• Deliver exceptional patient service while managing a high volume of patient interactions in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Utilize EMR/EHR platforms such as Epic, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, or similar systems.
• Support patient care within a healthcare setting, including physician offices, clinics, urgent care centers, pharmacies, hospitals, or home health environments.
• Leverage bilingual communication skills to support patient interactions when applicable.
