Job summary

Community Clinic in Rogers, AR is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant for our Primary & Specialty Care Clinic on Poplar St. The role requires CMA/RMA certification and bilingual Spanish/English proficiency.

Typical hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with duties including vitals, patient intake, and EMR documentation. The candidate will assist clinicians, prepare exam rooms, and support care-gap outreach while adhering to HIPAA and OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification required.
• Bilingual Spanish/English is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with non-invasive clinical tasks and document vitals.
• Perform patient intake, vital signs, specimen collection, POCT, and charting.
• Prepare, stock, and clean exam rooms for patient visits.
• Conduct outreach to close care gaps and follow-up activities.
• Document patient information in the EMR accurately.
• Support clinic workflow with organized daily logs and tasks.
• Provide courteous, professional service to patients and care team.

Job Summary

Community Clinic is seeking a Medical Assistant for our Primary & Specialty Care Clinic - Poplar St in Rogers, AR. The Medical Assistant assists in patient care under the direction of the clinicians and Clinic Nurses, assisting in providing excellent primary health care to our patients. The position is full-time, Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Bilingual speaking ability (Spanish/English) is required. CMA or RMA certification is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist providers with non-invasive clinical tasks, including obtaining vital signs and preparing patients for examination.
• Perform patient intake duties, including vital signs, specimen collection, point-of-care testing, and documentation as directed.
• Prepare, stock, and clean exam rooms to ensure readiness for patient visits.
• Conduct patient outreach to support care gap closure and fllow-up activities.
• Accurately document patient information in the electronic medical record.
• Support clinic workflow by maintaining organized daily logs and assigned tasks.
• Provide prompt, courteous, and professional service to patients and care team members.
• comply with all organizational policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Adheres to applicable regulatory guidelines and laws, including but not limited to HIPAA/HITECH, CLIA, HRSA, NCQA PCMH and OSHA.

Required Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required
• Certified Medical Assistant, Registered Medical Assistant, or equivalent experience required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant, Registered Medical Assistant, or equivalent experience preferred.
• 1+ year(s) of clinical pediatric experience preferred
• 1+ year(s) of medical administration experience preferred
