Urban Health Plan in Bronx, NY is hosting a Holiday Hiring Event for Medical Assistant and Nationally Certified Phlebotomy Technician positions. The full-time, on-site roles require English fluency and bilingual skills (Arabic or Spanish).

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant Certificate/Training School and National Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT).
• Bilingual English/Arabic is required; English/Spanish also accepted.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Computer literacy required.
• Training in phlebotomy and patient vitals.

Responsibilities

• Process blood draws, collect specimens and process lab orders.
• Prepare examination rooms and equipment.
• Obtain vital signs, medical history and record in medical records.
• Complete referrals and discharge patients.
• Assist providers and nurses during exams and treatments.
• Schedule appointments and verify insurance/demographics.
