Access Community Health Network (ACCESS) is hiring a Medical Assistant to support a collaborative care team providing comprehensive health services. You will assist providers with on-site procedures, take vital signs, perform phlebotomy, and administer vaccines to patients, while helping with scheduling and medical record review.

The role emphasizes ongoing training in Epic EMR and clinical skills, with demand for flexibility including some evenings and Saturdays, and bilingual English/Spanish

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Medical Assistant diploma from an accredited program.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Minimum of one year experience or clinical externship.
• Ability to work some evenings and Saturdays.
• Bilingual English/Spanish.

Position Summary

• Work in collaboration with a skilled care team that includes dedicated providers, benefits specialists, front desk receptionists, behavioral health consultants and others to provide quality health services and resources to meet our patients' needs.
• Assist providers with onsite procedures.
• Take vital signs, perform phlebotomy and administer medications/vaccines directly to patients.
• Assist patients by responding to questions, returning calls, scheduling appointments and reviewing medical records.
• Continue to grow your knowledge base through extensive clinical training and technical training with Epic, one of the leading Electronic Medical Record Systems globally.

Requirements

• HighSchool diploma or equivalent
• Medical Assistant diploma from an accreditedprogram
• CPR/Basic Life Support Certification
• Minimum of one (1) year experience or clinical externship
• Basic proficiency withEMR (Epic preferred)
• Ability to work some evenings and Saturdays
• Bilingual English/Spanish
