Job summary

Redefine Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant for our Oakhurst, Toms River, and East Brunswick offices. The role supports patient care by documenting histories, assisting with procedures, and handling administrative tasks including ePrescribing and order entries.

Pay is $23-25/hour, 40 hours per week, full-time. Benefits include PTO, sick time, health/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, 401(k) with company match, and yearly bonus.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant with a minimum of 2 years’ experience.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Solid working knowledge of EHR systems; Athena knowledge a plus.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare documentation for patient appointments.
• Document patient histories, vitals, test results, exam findings and plans in EHR.
• Process order entries and submissions (ePrescribing, labs, imaging).
• Assist with in-office injections.
• Assist with casting, splinting and suturing.
• Respond to patient calls and inquiries.
• Respond to pharmacy refill inquiries.
• Perform other tasks as directed by providers.

Redefine Healthcare is looking for a dedicated, full -time Medical Assistant to join our expanding team of healthcare professionals in our Oakhurst, Toms River, and East Brunswick Offices. The Medical Assistant will support patient care by documenting patient histories, assisting with in-office procedures, and responding to patient inquiries. They will also manage order entries, ePrescribing, and other administrative tasks, working closely with healthcare providers in a multi-specialty setting.
