Job summary

Redefine Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our expanding team across Oakhurst, Toms River, and East Brunswick offices.

You will support patient care by documenting histories, assisting with procedures, and handling orders, ePrescribing, and administrative tasks in a multi-specialty setting. We require a Certified Medical Assistant with at least 2 years’ experience, bilingual English/Spanish, strong communication, and proficiency with EHR systems (Athena a plus).

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant with minimum 2 years’ experience.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Solid working knowledge of EHR systems; Athena knowledge a plus.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare documentation required for patient appointments.
• Document patient history, vitals, test results, exam findings, plans in EHR.
• Submit orders for labs, imaging, and procedures (ePrescribing).
• Assist with in-office injections.
• Assist with casting, splinting, and suturing.
• Respond to patient calls and inquiries.
• Handle pharmacy refill inquiries.
• Perform other tasks as directed by providers.

Redefine Healthcare is looking for a dedicated, full -time Medical Assistant to join our expanding team of healthcare professionals in our Oakhurst, Toms River, and East Brunswick Offices. The Medical Assistant will support patient care by documenting patient histories, assisting with in-office procedures, and responding to patient inquiries. They will also manage order entries, ePrescribing, and other administrative tasks, working closely with healthcare providers in a multi-specialty setting. Job Title: Medical Assistant

Pay Rate: $23-25/ hour depending on specialty and experience

Hours: 40 hours per week
