1. Providing patient care under the medical provider’s supervision, including rooming patients, taking vital signs, and facilitating the physician’s workflow.
2. Utilizing the EMR to retrieve and update patient records, x-rays, scans, and lab work.
3. Performing clerical duties such as answering phones, relaying messages, follow-up calls, copying, and faxing.

Minimum qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant training program.
• Registered or nationally certified MA.
• 2-4 years of medical or healthcare experience preferred.
• Phlebotomy skills required.
• Bilingual (Spanish) skills a plus.
• Computer proficiency and experience with EMR systems.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and confidentiality skills.
