Job summary

Wheeler Health is seeking a Bilingual MDFT Clinician to provide intensive in-home treatment for adolescents with substance use and delinquent behaviors, working with families and readying for MDFT certification, licensure hours, and supervision.

The role includes MDFT-OUD integration, with Spanish/English bilingual requirements and a hybrid schedule across Waterbury, New Haven, and New Britain, CT, offering pathway to licensure and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bilingual ability in Spanish and English required.

Responsibilities

• Completes clinical documentation.
• Provides triages for clinical emergencies and aligns with identified safety plan.
• Works collaboratively with internal and external providers.
• Meets with families based on model expectations.
• Provides service in office, remote and/or community settings as defined by the program.
• May transport clients to appointments or linkages as appropriate.
• Team-based wrap-around services for family, clinical and case management.
• Participates in on-call rotation to support clients/families in crisis.
