Job summary

Wheeler Clinic in Waterbury/New Haven area is seeking a MDFT Clinician to provide model-adherent intensive in-home therapy for adolescents with substance use and behavioral challenges. The role includes MDFT-OUD option, licensure hours and supervision toward licensure, with a hybrid schedule and remote/in-home sessions.

Salary is $62,000 with a $5,000 sign-on bonus; licensure requirements include LPCA/LMFTA/LPC/LMFT or Psychologist with MSW LMSW/LCSW as applicable, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed or license eligible LPCA, LMFTA, LPC, LMFT or Psychologist.
• If you are a MSW, a LMSW (permit or license) or LCSW will be required to begin employment.
• Valid Driver's License is required.

Responsibilities

• Completes clinical documentation.
• Provides triages for clinical emergencies and aligns with identified safety plan.
• Works collaboratively with internal and external providers.
• Meets with families based on model expectations.
• Provides service in the office, remote and/or community settings outside of the office (e.g., homes, schools, hospitals, institutions, other community locations) as defined by the program.
• May transport clients to appointments or linkages as appropriate.
• Work in a team to provide wrap around services to the family both clinical and case management.
• Participate in on-call rotation with teammates to support clients/families in times of crisis.
