Job summary

The Forest Grove School District 15 is seeking a Program Specialist- McKinney-Vento Liaison to identify and support students experiencing housing instability, ensuring enrollment, attendance, and stability. Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; 72 quarter hours or equivalent education; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience with school age children, families and community organizations.
• Experience delivering trainings and evaluating programs.

Responsibilities

• Identify and enroll children and youth experiencing houselessness or in foster care.
• Assist families with transportation to school of origin and attendance barriers.
• Provide professional development and support to staff.
• Coordinate with ODHS and foster care programs; maintain data for reports.
• Distribute notices of rights and ensure timely enrollment/eligibility decisions.
