Horizon Land Company seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician in Germantown, MD to keep our residential community safe, functional, and well maintained. This bilingual-Spanish role emphasizes hands-on problem solving and independent work.

You will perform routine maintenance across buildings and grounds, handle plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry, inspect equipment, plan repairs, and help prepare the property for seasonal changes. Local travel and outdoor duties are expected.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools used in construction and repair of homes/buildings.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on building and grounds systems.
• Repair plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, heating/cooling, and other systems.
• Inspect equipment and arrange repairs in a timely manner with managers.
• Plan repair work using blueprints or manuals when needed.
• Maintain waterlines and ensure equipment remains in good working condition.
