MAC Incorporated is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic for the 3rd shift in Norwalk, CA. The role focuses on maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production assets, ensuring safe, sanitary, and efficient operation.

PLC automation and controls are central, with over 5 years of food-manufacturing maintenance experience preferred. The position offers a $35.00–$40.00 per hour pay rate, with a 10 pm–6:30 am schedule and overtime options.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
• Strong knowledge of PLC automation, controls, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, technical procedures, service manuals, and work orders.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair production equipment, packaging, and utility systems.
• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and related electrical components.
• Support Sanitation during end-of-day activities and during equipment reassembly.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance after the production shift.
• Keep accurate paperwork and inventories for maintenance activities.
• Communicate issues and improvements to cross-functional teams.
