Job summary

Nebraska Methodist Health System’s Methodist Physicians Clinic - South in Omaha is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to assist physicians by reviewing records, preparing patients and rooms, and handling prescription renewals. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with a $2,500 sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities include patient triage, education, documentation, and coordination of tests and labs. Requires LPN license, phlebotomy experience, and ability to pass a language proficiency exam within 3

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Current LPN license (or valid compact license) required.
Phlebotomy experience required (Floor only).
Ability to pass a language proficiency exam within 3 months of hire.
BLS certification preferred, expected within 3 months.

Responsibilities

Review records, prepare patients/exam rooms, and handle prescription renewals/inquiries.
Assist physicians by reviewing records and scheduling as directed.
Perform telephone triage and provide patient education to ensure understanding of care.
Document and report patient condition and discharge instructions per department policy.
Maintain clean, organized work areas and inventory to support patient care.
