Qualifications

• 3-7 years of experience in a logistics role
• Experience in manufacturing, metals, or stamping (minimum 3 years)
• Experience leading a team or in a supervisory/managerial role (minimum 3 years)
• An energetic and enthusiastic personality
• Experience working with SAP or similar ERP experience
• Strong analytic, leadership, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Direct inbound and outbound logistics operations
• Responsibility over transportation, receiving, shipping, warehouse activities, safety performance, and logistics quality management
• Champion continuous improvement by measuring KPI's and implementing lean tools to improve tact time
• Supervise the hourly workers and ensure efficient movement of material
• Set, communicate, and manage the day-to-day operational objectives for the team and ensure hourly metrics are met
• Ensure regulatory compliance and practices and procedures are followed by direct reports
• Conduct inventory control analysis and classification
