Job summary

PRO EM National Event Services in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a full-time Warehouse Dispatcher. Shift 11:00AM - 7:00 PM, with potential variation based on workload.

You will act as the primary liaison between customers and drivers, ensuring timely dispatch and close of work orders. The role requires strong communication skills in English (Spanish preferred), the ability to forecast days/weeks ahead, and effective independent work within a team.

Qualifications

• Minimum one-year dispatch experience preferred.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Must be able to multitask.
• Proficient knowledge of Phoenix and surrounding areas.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations, including hours of service.
• Intermediate to advanced skill set of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Commitment to excellence and high standards.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Assist with loading and unloading.

Responsibilities

• Determine the appropriate availability of equipment and personnel for each work order.
• Dispatch drivers/trucks to locations according to customer requests and availability.
• Relay information to supervisors and drivers via messaging, telephone and radio.
• Advise personnel about traffic problems and hazards.
• Adjust schedule as needed throughout the day.
• Manage and track drivers’ attendance and time-off requests.
• Assign newly hired drivers to trainers and equipment.
• Ensure jobs are entered timely and accurately into Haul-It dispatch system.
• Update driver status in Track-It as needed.
• Communicate daily dispatch assignments to all necessary personnel.
• Follow up on daily paperwork to ensure it is correct.
• Be available to work weekends and overtime, as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
