Job summary

CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC is seeking a Bilingual Loan Officer to support the loan origination process by reviewing client documentation, analyzing finances, and structuring loan scenarios. You will work closely with an established Loan Officer in a remote environment, handling inbound leads and guiding borrowers through applications.

Ideal candidates hold an active Nevada NMLS license and are fluent in Spanish and English, with 2+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• Active Nevada Loan Originator license (NMLS).
• Fluency in Spanish and English to support a diverse customer base.
• 2+ years of experience as a Loan Officer or Mortgage Loan Originator.

Responsibilities

• Inbound leads provided.
• Take complete loan applications and review client documentation.
• Guide borrowers through the loan application process and provide clear, timely communication.
• Analyze credit, income, and financial profiles to recommend appropriate loan products.
• Structure loan scenarios and review program options.
• Originate residential mortgage loans, including Conventional, FHA, VA, and Non‑QM products.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, real estate agents, and referral partners.
• Ensure documentation and loan files meet federal, state, and investor compliance requirements.
• Proactively follow up with clients and active files to resolve inquiries and gather required information.
• Collaborate with processing and underwriting teams to support pipeline management and ensure smooth, timely closings.
• Stay up to date on lending guidelines, market trends, and interest rate changes.

Skilled in demonstrating accountability and reliability in completing tasks and meeting commitments. Skilled in collaborating effectively as a contributing member of the team. Skilled in pursuing ongoing professional development to support increased effectiveness and career growth. Proficient with loan origination systems and digital documentation tools.
