Job summary

CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC in Scottsdale, AZ, is hiring a Mortgage Loan Processor Support role to assist in reviewing loan applications and documentation, and to help move files toward close.

You will handle disclosures, correspondence with borrowers, and coordinate with loan officers, processors, and title companies. A year of mortgage experience and good communication are favored; NMLS license is a plus. We offer competitive compensation and benefits with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of mortgage-related experience with customer contact.
• Active NMLS license or commitment to obtain NMLS.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Excellent prioritization and time management skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Salesforce experience preferred.
• Previous sales support experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in reviewing mortgage loan applications and documentation, including phone and computer work.
• Review mortgage loan disclosure packages and deliver to the borrower.
• Create rate disclosure and re-disclosure packages and deliver to the borrower.
• Review documents and entire loan files, highlight deficiencies, and notify loan officer/processor.
• Clarify/correct information and obtain additional information via phone or email.
• Provide general clerical and phone support to loan officers/loan processors.
• Support lending and processing in various stages as needed.
• Assist in managing a pipeline of conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, 203K and reverse mortgage loans.
• Deliver appraisals/valuations to borrowers and retrieve proof of receipt.
• Track outstanding items on loan files and follow up to ensure timely documentation.
• Facilitate timely loan closings with Title Company and borrower.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in reviewing mortgage loan application and documentation, which may include phone and computer work, printing, copying, scanning, emailing, overnighting documents, etc.
• Review mortgage loan disclosure packages and deliver them to the borrower.
• Create rate disclosure and re-disclosure packages and deliver them to the borrower.
• Review documents and entire loan files and work to prevent problems by highlighting deficiencies and then notifying the mortgage loan officer and/or loan processor.
• Clarify/correct information and obtain additional information, as necessary, via phone, email, etc.
• General clerical and phone support to loan officers and/or loan processors, as needed.
• Work with management to provide support in various stages and areas of lending and processing as needed.
• Assist in managing a pipeline consisting of conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA loans, along with 203K and reverse mortgage products.
• Deliver appraisals and/or property valuations to the borrower and retrieve proof of receipt.
• Track outstanding items on all loan files and follow up with customers to ensure timely receipt of necessary documentation.
• Facilitate timely loan closings by working directly with the Title Company and customer to schedule.

Qualifications and Skills

• Active NMLS license or commitment to obtain NMLS.
• High School Diploma, General Equivalency Diploma (GED), or equivalent.
• A minimum of 1 year of mortgage-related experience, including customer contact.
• Previous sales support experience, preferred.
• Salesforce experience, preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Excellent prioritization and time management skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
