Qualifications

• New York State Teaching Certification (or credentials from another state)
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Minimum 1 year of teaching experience required
• Spanish language proficiency preferred

Responsibilities

• Teach Living Environment to middle/high school students in a bilingual setting
• Provide academic advisement and progress reporting
• Collaborate with families, staff, and administrators
• Plan and facilitate inclusive, standards-aligned lessons and assessments
• Support students with special needs and manage classroom behavior
• Participate in IEP processes and data tracking
• Contribute to school-wide initiatives and professional development
