Job summary

The Lemon Pros is seeking a highly organized Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys through all phases of California Lemon Law litigation. The ideal candidate communicates effectively with clients in English and Spanish and can manage a high-volume caseload with precision.

Responsibilities include preparing pleadings, discovery, and case materials; tracking deadlines; coordinating calendars; and assisting with depositions, mediations, arbitration, and trial preparation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of paralegal experience, preferably in civil litigation.
• Bilingual Spanish/English required for client communication.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• Experience with California Lemon Law or plaintiff-side litigation preferred.
• Strong understanding of litigation procedures, discovery, pleadings, deadlines, and trial preparation.
• Ability to independently track deadlines and manage a high-volume caseload.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain litigation case files from initiation through resolution.
• Assist attorneys with all phases of California Lemon Law litigation.
• Prepare legal documents, pleadings, motions, discovery, correspondence, notices, and case-related materials.
• Track litigation deadlines, court dates, discovery deadlines, depositions, mediations, and other events.
• Assist with discovery preparation and service (interrogatories, requests for production, requests for admission).
• Communicate with clients to obtain case information, documentation, and updates.
• Assist attorneys with deposition, mediation, arbitration, and trial preparation.
• Review client records and relevant documents for Lemon Law claims.
• Maintain accurate case notes and status updates in the case management system.
• Coordinate attorney calendars, hearings, depositions, mediations, and client meetings.
