Job summary

The City of Anna is seeking a Library Services Manager to oversee the Community Library. The role involves supervising staff, developing policies, coordinating services, and maintaining the library facility, while working closely with the Community Services Director.

Preferred qualifications include an MLS and significant library leadership experience; CPR/First Aid/AED credentials or the ability to obtain them within 30 days, and a valid driver's license. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in library and information science preferred.
• Five years of professional library experience with three years in admin/supervisory roles.
• Current CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications or within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Manage, supervise and coordinate activities of the Community Library.
• Develop policies and procedures and oversee library services.
• Maintain facility and coordinate with other divisions and outside agencies.
• Provide complex administrative support to the Community Services Director.
