Job summary

Harvard Maintenance is seeking a Lead Cleaner to ensure top-quality cleanliness across facilities. You will lead the cleaning team, train staff, and uphold safety and hygiene standards while coordinating daily tasks and addressing client requests.

This role requires at least 1 year in janitorial work, strong leadership and communication, and the ability to work with radios and smartphones to manage work orders. Weekend availability and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Previous lead or supervisory experience required.
• At least 1 year janitorial or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee daily cleaning tasks across facilities.
• Coordinate and support team, promoting a positive work environment.
• Train staff and supervise in the supervisor's absence.
• Inspect areas to ensure quality standards.
• Restock supplies and monitor inventory levels.
• Attend to client requests and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Respond to spills and special cleaning requests.
• Oversee workflow and manage cleaning crews.
