Job summary

El Rancho Supermercado is seeking a Kitchen Clerk to support cooks and bakers by preparing and assembling food, washing dishes, and keeping stoves clean and ready for service. You’ll help ensure items are signed properly and assist in keeping dining areas stocked and orderly, while engaging with customers when sampling products.

Qualification includes a High School Diploma, basic kitchen skills, and bilingual English and Spanish; ability to stand for long periods and lift lightweight items;

Responsibilities

• Makes salsa and other sides for food entrees.
• Washes dishes.
• Maintains stoves as ready for cooking.
• Ensures products are signed properly.
• Ensures all dining tables are cleaned and stocked properly.
• Offers sample to customers and engages in suggestive selling.
• Other duties as assigned.
