Job summary

El Rancho Supermercado is seeking a Kitchen Clerk to assist cooks and bakers in food preparation and cooking, delivering quality products to customers.

Responsibilities include making salsa, washing dishes, maintaining stoves, stocking dining areas, offering samples, and following safety and cleanliness standards. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required. Flexible hours with shifts starting at or around midnight may be required.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred and helpful for customer interactions.
• Basic kitchen skills and familiarity with food preparation are required.

Responsibilities

• Makes salsa and other sides for food entrees
• Washes dishes
• Maintains stoves as ready for cooking
• Ensures products are signed properly
• Ensures all dining tables are cleaned and stocked properly
• Offers sample to customers and engages in suggestive selling
• Other duties as assigned.
