Job summary

Farine Elementary School seeks a Kinder Bilingual Teacher to serve Irving ISD. The role focuses on delivering bilingual instruction, ESL support, and meeting elementary students’ learning needs with a growth mindset and strong classroom management.

The teacher will collaborate with campus staff, implement district curricula, and monitor student achievement throughout the year, contributing to a positive, inclusive classroom culture.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned.
• Knowledge of curriculum and instruction.
• Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior.
• Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent with technology use and integrates technology to enhance student learning.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement plans for the curriculum program assigned and show written evidence of preparation as required.
• Present the subject matter according to guidelines established by TEA, board policies, and administrative regulations.
• Access and use data to plan and implement instructional strategies reflecting individual student needs.
• Cooperate with special education staff to modify curricula per IEP guidelines.
• Plan and supervise assignments for teacher aides/volunteers while working with students.
