AUSL in Chicago is seeking a results-driven Recruitment Specialist to lead candidate cultivation, event management, and enrollment coaching for our teacher residency program.

You will manage the candidate journey from outreach through admission, coordinate information sessions and career fairs, and partner with DePaul University and other allies to ensure a diverse, high-quality pipeline. Some evenings/weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Outcomes-focused with strong metric-driven results.
• 3+ years of professional work experience; at least 1 year in recruitment (high-volume sourcing, outreach, partnerships, events). Bachelor's degree required.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication across phone, virtual, and in-person settings.

Responsibilities

• Candidate Cultivation & Event Management: build relationships, host sessions, represent AUSL at career fairs, convert and guide candidates.
• Enrollment Coaching: engage admitted candidates, monitor attrition risk, build community, support throughout onboarding.
• Systems & Data Management: track pipeline in Slate, maintain data accuracy, analyze dashboards to adapt recruitment effort.
