MG2, an affiliate of Colliers Engineering & Design, seeks a Job Captain in Seattle to lead architectural construction document production for data center projects. You will collaborate with MG2's Shanghai office, ensuring Mandarin communication supports production needs and design intent.

The role requires 6+ years in architecture, fluency in Mandarin, Revit/AutoCAD proficiency, and strong QA/QC and coordination with consultants through all design phases. Salary $70,000–$85,000.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field.
• 6+ years of professional architecture or design firm experience.
• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
• Demonstrated experience using Bluebeam, Miro, and Teams for collaboration.
• Experience coordinating architectural construction documents; prior project variety preferred.
• Experience in construction administration including RFI/submittal review and project close-out.
• Must be fluent in Mandarin Chinese. Reading and writing English required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the production and coordination of contract deliverables including drawings and specs, ensuring alignment with contract and design intent.
• Collaborate with internal staff to integrate designs into contract documents and specifications, considering jurisdictional and client requirements.
• Coordinate deliverables with external consultants and project partners.
• Prepare code research and feasibility studies and coordinate with AHJ representatives as needed.
• Provide admin support: meeting agendas/minutes, trackers, permits, RFIs, submittals, reports.
• Guide staff on MG2 documentation standards and design templates.
