Shibuya Hoppmann has an immediate opening for a Bilingual (Japanese/English) Service Technician in Northern Virginia
Shibuya Hoppmann is looking for a bilingual (English/Japanese) technician to facilitate communication between Japanese & English-speaking colleagues and customers, as a member of our field service team. This technician will also support the service team with installation, maintenance and other customer support work. The position will be based out of our Manassas VA headquarters office, but work will be primarily located at customer sites (indoors) and will therefore require significant domestic and some international travel. On the Job Training will be provided to familiarize you with the job and help you to work independently. This ongoing training and support will occur at customer sites and at our facilities in Virginia and Japan.
Experience with food/beverage processing machinery, PCL Controls and equipment instrumentation would be advantageous. Preference will be given to candidates who have authorization to work in the United States, but support in obtaining a work visa may be provided. Experience working with a Japanese company preferred. Understanding of both Japanese and US business culture would also be helpful.
