Job summary

Lot Commercial Property Services in San Diego is seeking a Field Supervisor (Janitorial) to lead on-site janitorial teams, ensure quality, and maintain safety standards. You will train staff, perform inspections, and coordinate scheduling, hiring, and supervision for day porters and sweepers.

The role requires 2+ years of hands-on supervision, bilingual English/Spanish, a valid CA driver's license, and strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience supervising housekeeping/janitorial staff.
• Fully bilingual in English/Spanish.
• Valid California Driver's License with acceptable driving record.
• Comprehensive understanding of maintaining a safe working environment.
• Strong organizational, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Motivation to do a good job when working alone.
• Attention to detail and good judgment.
• Polished, professional demeanor; tech-friendly (smartphone/tablet/computer).
• Oral and written English and Spanish communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise day-to-day janitorial staff and shift coverage.
• Train staff to follow safety policies and procedures.
• Perform quality control inspections at properties.
• Assist with hiring, scheduling, training, and supervision of day porters and sweepers.
• Fill shift/site vacancies and manage overtime; minimize overtime where possible.
• Ensure equipment and supplies are maintained and inventories tracked.
• Attend weekly operations meetings and communicate with clients and vendors.
• Be flexible to duties beyond regular shift hours as needed.
