State Farm is seeking a Client Account Representative in Gaithersburg, MD, to serve as a primary contact for customers, handling policy changes, billing questions and account servicing with care. The role emphasizes relationship-building and a proactive approach to insurance and financial services needs.

You will educate clients on State Farm products, conduct reviews, and identify cross-sell opportunities while maintaining compliance and delivering outstanding service.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and Spanish (spoken and written).
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Sales or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to handle high-stress situations calmly.
• License in Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health preferred or willing to obtain after hire.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through exceptional service.
• Assist customers with policy changes, billing questions, claims support, and account servicing.
• Conduct policy reviews to ensure customers have the coverage that best fits their needs.
• Educate customers about State Farm insurance and financial service products.
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell and recommend additional products based on customer needs.
• Follow up with customers regarding quotes, renewals, and outstanding requests.
• Process customer requests accurately and maintain detailed account records.
• Work collaboratively with the agency team to achieve individual and office goals.
• Maintain compliance with State Farm guidelines and insurance regulations.
