Job summary

GEICO’s local Waco office is hiring a bilingual Insurance Agent to join our sales team and help clients secure home, auto, and other coverages. You will learn GEICO systems to grow and retain clients while delivering excellent service in both Spanish and English.

The role emphasizes understanding customer needs, presenting GEICO products, and timely follow-up, with on-the-job training provided for licensing. This is an on-site position at our Waco location.

Qualifications

• Bilingual (Spanish and English) preferred.
• Proven ability to be persuasive; persistent and confident.
• Desire to work in sales with a competitive spirit.
• Solid computer, grammar, and multi-tasking skills.
• Willingness to obtain a property and casualty license within 90 days; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Ask questions to determine customer needs.
• Sell the value of GEICO by reviewing product features and benefits.
• Follow up with customers in a timely manner.
• Review motor vehicle reports and provide accurate rate and coverages.
• Follow up on prospects and manage calendar appointments.
