ManhattanLife Insurance and Annuity Company in Houston, TX seeks a bilingual Insurance Sales Trainer to design and deliver Life & Health training for agents, brokers, and internal teams. You will create scalable resources, stay current with product changes, and continuously improve training effectiveness.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, 3+ years in training or sales enablement, and Spanish bilingual proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish.
• At least 3 years of professional training, sales enablement, or instructional design experience.
• Previous experience in Life & Health insurance industry strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience independently building and managing training programs from concept through execution.
• Strong understanding of insurance sales processes and producer distribution channels.
• Excellent presentation, facilitation, and public speaking skills.
• Experience developing engaging learning materials using Microsoft Office and modern presentation platforms.
• Comfortable presenting virtually using WebEx, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or similar technologies.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, implement, and continuously improve ManhattanLife's comprehensive Life & Health product training program with minimal supervision.
• Conduct engaging instructor‑led virtual and in-person training sessions for agents, brokers, agencies, and internal associates.
• Develop training that teaches product knowledge and equips agents with effective sales strategies, positioning techniques, objection handling, and best practices.
• Create and maintain high‑quality training materials, including presentations, videos, job aids, quick reference guides, webinars, and on‑demand learning resources.
• Ensure training materials stay current with product enhancements, underwriting changes, regulatory updates, system enhancements, and market conditions.
• Provide ongoing education for Customer Service, Agent Support, Sales, Marketing, and other internal departments.
• Manage the product training calendar, coordinate training requests, schedule sessions, and communicate opportunities.
• Measure training effectiveness through participation metrics, surveys, knowledge assessments, and feedback; recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Sales, Marketing, Operations, Underwriting, Compliance, and IT to reflect current initiatives.
• Deliver training sessions in both English and Spanish to support bilingual distribution partners.
• Stay current on industry trends and adult learning methodologies to improve ManhattanLife's program.
• Travel about 10% for agency visits, meetings, and events.
