Job summary

ABC Supply Co. Inc. is seeking an Inside Sales Associate in Maryland, offering help to customers purchasing roofing, building and remodeling products.

The role emphasizes translating customer needs into recommended products, up-selling supplies, processing orders, and coordinating pickups and deliveries. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in roofing/siding/windows, strong communication, time management, and a team-oriented, service-minded approach.

• 1-2 years’ experience in roofing, siding, and windows is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determining customers’ needs and recommending appropriate products and solutions
• Following a product/supply checklist for each customer’s job and up-selling additional products and supplies
• Answering telephones and entering sales orders
• Accepting payment and applying it to the appropriate customer account
• Coordinating customer pick ups with the warehouse
• Following up on deliveries to ensure materials arrived on time with all items accounted for
• Reordering products to keep the store and warehouse shelves well stocked
• Addressing and resolving service concerns, should they arise

Pay Rate Information:

$20–25/hr. Based on experience and qualifications.
