Job summary

Zambrano Law seeks an experienced Immigration Paralegal focused on USCIS and affirmative immigration matters to join our growing legal team in Georgia. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of hands-on immigration paralegal experience and can manage multiple cases from preparation through filing and follow-up.

Fluency in English and Spanish is required. You will work closely with attorneys and clients, handle deadlines, and maintain accurate case records in our workflow system.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of immigration paralegal experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of USCIS procedures and affirmative matters.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple cases from preparation through filing and follow-up.
  • Experience communicating with attorneys and Spanish-speaking clients.

Responsibilities

  • Assist attorneys with USCIS and affirmative immigration matters including family-based petitions and other filings.
  • Prepare and review immigration applications, petitions, forms, and supporting documentation.
  • Organize evidence and supporting documentation according to case strategy.
  • Review applications for completeness, accuracy, and potential issues before attorney review.
  • Coordinate with attorneys and legal assistants to move cases through the firm workflow.
  • Communicate with clients in English and Spanish regarding requests and updates.
  • Prepare and submit USCIS filings; monitor case status and notices.
  • Respond to RFEs, NOIDs, and biometrics/interview notices as needed.
  • Track deadlines, biometrics appointments, interviews, and milestones.
  • Maintain up-to-date case records in the case management system.
  • Ensure all activity is properly documented and confidential.
  • Coordinate biometrics appointments and USCIS interviews with clients and attorneys.
  • Assist attorneys with preparation for USCIS interviews and other appointments.
  • Follow established firm procedures and case workflows.
  • Identify missing information and escalate to the appropriate attorney.
