Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school.
• Admission to a state bar and eligibility to practice.
• Knowledge of regulatory laws; immigration experience preferred but not required.
• 3–5 years in immigration law or related fields preferred but not required.
• Bilingual proficiency in languages commonly spoken by immigrant communities is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Meet clients to assess immigration needs and develop strategies.
• Prepare and review immigration applications and supporting documents.
• Represent clients in immigration court proceedings, asylum, removal defense, and appeals.
• Conduct legal research on changes in immigration laws and precedents.
• Ensure filings comply with immigration laws and regulations.
• Maintain regular communication with clients about case progress.
