Minnesota Lavender Bar Association in the Twin Cities Metro Area seeks an Assistant Supervising Attorney to provide immigration legal services to immigrant and refugee clients while supporting the Supervising Attorney with mentorship and oversight.

The role involves managing an active caseload, co-counseling complex cases, monitoring deadlines, outreach, and community education; travel to client meetings and events is expected. Hybrid and in-office options are available.

Formación

• J.D. degree and active Minnesota State Bar license.
• At least three years of immigration law experience, including USCIS filings and immigration court matters.
• Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Commitment to serving diverse, low-income immigrant and refugee communities.
• Ability to travel for client meetings and outreach.

Responsabilidades

• Provide immigration legal services to immigrant and refugee clients while supporting the Supervising Attorney with staff mentorship and legal oversight.
• Manage an active caseload and co-counsel complex cases; monitor deadlines and compliance.
• Participate in community outreach and education to raise awareness of immigration issues.
• Mentor and supervise staff, interns, and law clerks as needed.
