The Northwest Immigrant Rights Project (NWIRP) seeks a full-time bilingual legal advocate in Seattle to support emergent community needs and assist Asylum and Removal Defense Units. Fluency in English and another language is required, with a start date as soon as possible and a minimum two-year commitment.

Under attorney supervision, you will handle intakes, outreach, education, and assist in direct representation, including preparing immigration forms and liaising with partners.

Qualificações

• Fluency in English and another language is required.
• Ability to start as soon as possible and commit for at least two years.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for client meetings.

Responsabilidades

• Under supervision, conduct intakes by phone and in person.
• Provide community outreach and education to immigrant communities.
• Assist in direct representation and prepare immigration forms.
• Support asylum and removal defense units with staff attorneys.
• Translate documents and maintain case files.
• Coordinate with community partners and track grants-related tasks.
