Job summary

Pritchard Sports & Entertainment Group in San Francisco, CA seeks a bilingual Manager of People Operations to lead HR, payroll coordination, labor relations and office administration for a unionized hourly workforce serving a cleaning services account.

This hands‑on role partners with site leadership and the client, ensuring staffing readiness, onboarding, training, and fair, compliant personnel practices across shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Five+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least two years in union relations, CBA administration and grievance management.
• Experience conducting investigations, coaching supervisors, supporting a large hourly workforce and coordinating payroll.
• Working knowledge of California and San Francisco employment law; confidentiality and strong project coordination skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills; proficiency with HRIS and timekeeping systems; UKG experience preferred.
• Ability to work on site across multiple shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays for events.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Recruiting and Operations on staffing, onboarding and retention; maintain HRIS records and confidential personnel files.
• Maintain staffing rosters, vacancies and termination reports; coordinate final-pay processing.
• Coordinate performance evaluations and staffing adjustments with Site leadership; ensure labor/materials readiness.
• On-site orientations and training; administer site benefit and recognition programs.
• Coach leaders on attendance, performance and employee communication; maintain professional boundaries.
• Administer CBAs and guide leaders on seniority and discipline; support negotiations and arbitrations as assigned.
• Manage grievance intake, investigations and documentation; escalate to VP of HR and legal counsel as needed.
• Prepare and process site payroll submissions in partnership with Payroll; reconcile payroll records.
• Maintain site insurance, Workers’ Comp records and incident reports; coordinate with Risk and Safety.
