Job summary

Rocket Farms is seeking a bilingual HR Generalist to support employees and leaders across HR functions at our Half Moon Bay, CA operations. You will handle employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, benefits, leaves, payroll, and HRIS with a hands-on, operational approach.

You will work closely with management to ensure compliant, efficient HR practices, foster a positive work environment, and support safety initiatives. English/Spanish fluency required for diverse workforce interactions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.
• Experience across multiple HR functions including employee relations, recruiting/onboarding, benefits/leaves, performance management, payroll/timekeeping, and HRIS.
• Knowledge of California employment laws and compliance requirements.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required with strong communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Paylocity or another HRIS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted day-to-day HR resource for employees and managers on policies, benefits, leaves, attendance, and HR programs.
• Manage employee relations, investigations, coaching, corrective action, performance management, and policy interpretation.
• Provide bilingual English/Spanish HR support to ensure understanding of policies and processes.
• Manage recruiting activities: posting, screening, interviews, offers, and onboarding support.
• Coordinate onboarding and HRIS enrollment, documentation, and training compliance.
• Support benefits and leave administration and payroll/timekeeping data accuracy.
• Maintain HR records in HRIS and ensure confidentiality and compliance.
• Assist with workers' compensation, safety programs, audits, and safety training.
• Stay current on federal, state, and local employment laws; participate in HR projects.
