Job summary

Chesapeake Search Partners is partnering with a growing organization in the Jessup, MD area to recruit a Bilingual Human Resources Assistant to support daily HR operations on-site. The role requires fluency in English and Spanish and serves as a primary point of contact for employees, handling onboarding, records, and HR systems navigation including Paylocity.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and Spanish required.
• Previous administrative experience required; HR experience preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; HRIS experience is a plus.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate new hire onboarding and conduct orientations in English and Spanish.
• Maintain employee records, HR databases, and employment documentation.
• Assist with attendance tracking, compliance, and employee relations.
• Help employees navigate HR systems, including Paylocity.
• Support general HR administration, employee check-ins, and special projects.
