• Fluent Portuguese speaking/writing.
• Associate’s degree in human services, psychology, sociology, or related field.
• Computer literacy including Word and Excel.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• HUD HECM Counselor Certification within 6 months of hire.
• HUD Housing Counselor Certification within 6 months of hire.
• Mathematical capability for budgeting and debt-to-income calculations.
• Experience working with similar population.

Responsibilities

• Provide Reverse Mortgage counseling with education on risks and benefits.
• Provide Foreclosure counseling and loss mitigation guidance.
• Administer financial assistance programs and housing move-in/retention support.
• Maintain relationships with lenders and housing resources.
• Document and update client records in required systems.
• Attend trainings to maintain certifications.
