Job summary

Arrowhead Regional Medical Center is hiring Hospital Food Services Workers to perform food prep, serving, and patient meal delivery in a busy kitchen.

The role requires at least three months of full‑time food service experience, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a San Bernardino County Food Handler’s Certificate within two weeks of hire.

English/Spanish bilingual skills are desirable. Extra‑help opportunities may be available with varying shifts across days, evenings, nights, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Three (3) months of full-time food service experience in a hospital, cafeteria, or similar setting.
• Incumbents must obtain a San Bernardino County Food Handler's Certificate within two weeks of hire.
• English/Spanish bilingual skills are desired.
• Background check required.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate cash registers and receipts; handle monetary transactions.
• Wash and prepare food for cooking; assemble sandwiches and salads.
• Supply food to steam tables and deliver trays to patients.
• Wash dishes; clean floors; restock supplies as needed.
• Assist with general kitchen cleanup and maintenance.
